Faculty & Student Support

Individualized attention to improve student and faculty outcomes

Students often require support as they work their way through an online course or program. Whether they are submitting assignments late or not engaging with the online course materials, they need a partner to trust throughout their journey. With our coaching and retention services, iDesign success coaches maintain regular contact with students as they progress through the program and prioritize targeted outreach to keep students moving forward. Life challenges may get in the way of a student completing a course or progressing to graduation. Our coaches leverage both institutional data and personal relationships to keep learners on track and to encourage progress at every stage. We improve persistence rates and ensure no student is left behind in the process. This helps to avoid overburdening faculty as institutions work to scale their offerings.

Faculty often value support as they deliver online instruction. Our Faculty Experience (FX) Directors provide individualized, ongoing support for faculty across the full program lifecycle. iDesign provides comprehensive instructional design support through course development and periodic continuous improvement. FX Directors take that a step further, supporting faculty delivering live courses and serving as a highly accessible point-of-contact throughout each faculty member’s involvement in the program. FX Directors are there to troubleshoot, to provide technology training, to ideate on instructional strategies, to remove roadblocks, and to cheerlead. When faculty have someone in their corner, it shows in the student experience.

iDesign providing faculty support

Patient-facing clinical experiences are a core component of programs for nurses and healthcare practitioners.  Demand for degrees in healthcare fields is high, but clinical placement is complex, and most universities struggle to deliver a robust student experience at scale.  Through a combination of services and software, iDesign streamlines key aspects of the clinical placement process, including: identification of prospective clinical sites and preceptors, facilitation of required legal agreements, verification and documentation of student site access requirements, and documentation of clinical experiences. Our team ensures that the clinical placement process scales smoothly, relaxing a key constraint on the growth of nursing and healthcare programs for our university partners.
